	AceKard 2 i - Firmware Update Fixes DSI 1.4 Issues for AceKard 2i Owners

Details The AceKard team has proven over and over that they stand behind their products. Once again (and as we've been saying for some time) the AceKard 2i team is truly ahead of the curve when it comes to releasing fixes and updates for their flash cards.

With the latest update from Nintendo to version 1.4 on the Nintendo DSi console, they added a good slew of features, but also rendered it impossible to use your homebrew Flash cards like the AceKard 2 i and R4i or TTDSi, etc... In fact, we asked many of our customers to make sure they do NOT update to the 1.4 version firmware on their NDSi consoles, to be sure that their flash cards will continue to work - until - and if - there was a fix for them to also support the 1.4 software update.

As some of you may know, there was a lot of talk and discussion by customers as to just how well these new NDSi cards could truly support the DSi and the updates that it would now be receiving. Many of the card manufacturers, including the Acekard 2i manufacturer, stated that their units would be fully and 100% upgradeable, by way of a firmware upgrage to the flash card itself. Until now, this has not had to be tested. Simply because there have been no software updates for the DSi consoles.

There were a lot of questions from consumers. How could we be sure that cards like the AceKard 2 i would actually be updated and have the actual ability to be updated built right in. Were they just using some fix to make their cards work on the DSi? Well, clearly they CAN and HAVE released a fix. And we're very excited to share this information with our customers.

The AceKard 2i team has proven themselves again to be one of the first to market with a fully and 100% working updgrade to their AceKard 2 i card. Which now fully works with all Nintendo DSi consoles - including DSi consoles that have been updated to the 1.4 software update. So if you're a DSi owner, we can't stress enough that the AceKard 2i is the card you should be looking at. Knowing that they work hard to ensure their product works, and working to update it quickly when it does not, shows their commitment to their customers.
