| Creating
a PS2 DVD-R backup
with a Pioneer A03
drive and Prassi PrimoDVD |

| 1. |
To
begin, insert the
source DVD disc is
in the Pioneer DVR-AO3
tray and open PrimoDVD.
If the PrimoDVD starter
screen appears click
on the 'Go To Full
Application' button
found at the bottom
of the starter screen.
Note: You are going
to require at least
5GB of free disc space
for PrimoDVD to create
the temporary image
file of the source
disc. |

Click
on 'Tools' then 'Drive
Tuning' in the PrimoDVD
menubar to view the
current settings of
your DVD-ROM and DVD-RW
drives. You
want to ensure that
the auto-insert notification
feature is switched
off on both of these
drives. If necessary,
switch off auto-insert
notification for both
dives and choose to
reboot your system.
These setting changes
are necessary to stop
unwanted DVD-R (destination)
access by Windows
during the burn process. |

Click
on the 'PrimoDVD Starter'
button along the toolbar
to launch the starter
screen. Once
the starter screen
appears click on the
'Disk Copy' button. |

Select
the source and destination
drives, it is recommended
that you use the same
drive as both the
source and destination
for more reliable
performance.
Ensure that the 'Make
temporary image' box
is checked or grayed
out. |

Now
you are ready to begin
creating the image
and burning that image
to DVD-R media, simply
click on the 'Record'
button to begin the
automated process. |
